    Shadowbox Picture Frames

A “shadowbox” originally was an extra deep frame intended to display work on paper, but also hold it back in the frame from the damaging effects of everyday light.

With the advent of archival papers, “museum glass” and other conservation products, the shadowbox has evolved into a display case for a mix of things that weren’t typically “framed” ever before, like guitars, wedding dresses, and chunks of concrete.

We see “shadowbox frames” as specialized pieces of furniture made specifically to present rare, unique, and highly valued objects, and we create them custom, one at a time, to meet the specific needs of your heirloom artifact.
